Travel Plans
Our handsome young man, pictured above, has made some travel plans. He departs Bay Haven Farm the first week of November. Super excited for this boy who is indeed the full package. Super good looking and with the awesomeness of both his mom and dad’s temperament combined he is quite phenomenal. I will miss this one for sure.
Meanwhile, Aetius started his lessons and has proven to be a stellar student. After just his first lesson, it was clear this sharp little tack was going to move along quickly. Cutest little buggar, and growing up pretty quickly. On my list to get some pics of him shared because he is not the gangly moose-like looking beastie he was in his 3 day old pic posted on the sale page.
Aetius and Hathorn are best-est of pals. This is clearly a great thing because these two guys will spend a good amount of time together over the winter and then ultimately be weaning buddies in January. Closing in on a permanent home for Hathorn...an amazing specimen who is the product of Ginger and Joe. This guy oozes presence.
Funny how things get a little busy just before winter. A visitor flying in from the West coast to meet Fortuna in person. After photos, lots of video a fly-in trip to meet the girl in person was warranted. A couple weeks before the meeting yet; but it is possible that Fortuna may find herself a left-coaster before the end of the year.
This time of year our focus starts to lean toward turkeys and harvesting. Just under 20 turkeys left available. It is a time of year that is busy yet fun and full of good family and friend times. One of our most favorite times of year.
